Introduction


SEO is an important consideration for marketers because it allows users interact on a company’s site more efficiently and find solutions to their problems or general inquiries that may pertain to a specific interest in a product or service of a company. From a company’s ēperspective, SEO can also contribute immensely to business growth and meet business objectives. In the carbonated soft drink industry, specializing mainly in cola drinks, Coca-Cola and Pepsi make up the majority of the market share. Using keyword sentences throughout their sites like “Refreshing”. In the quest of the Ultimate Cola Soft Drink there will be many comparisons between the two sites and many opposing factors that will express the overall success of each brand and how that specific enhances brand awareness. Both sites are distinguishable on how they approach their primary target markets as in demographics. Coca-Cola being the biggest sellers of soft drinks is what puts the brand one step ahead of Pepsi. The objective is to determine which of the two sites when compared has a stronger SEO.

Summary:

Coca-Cola’s strengths are its use of ability to focus primarily on attracting customers who are in it for the long run and will bring customer loyalty to the brand. Coca cola is company who stresses on its tradition and long-term history of satisfying their customers and through this approach coke is able to attract and hold on to loyal customers. Pepsi’s strengths are its use of youthfulness approach on how it attracts the younger generation through the use of their commercials and ads using youth like terms. Pepsi is focus on the whole experience and living in the moment. When searching for content using the keywords:  Global Leader of Soft Drink Beverages, Cola, Refreshing, Coca-Cola ranked first. When searching for content using the keywords: “Refreshing, Crisp and Experience” Pepsi ranked second. The two sites have this in common in how this stressed the fact that their product makes a difference in your lives after consumption but they are different in how they approach their target audience.

Conclusion:

In the soft drink industry, Coca-Cola and Pepsi are the most popular soft drink brands who take up majority of the market.  Using keyword sentences throughout their sites like “Refreshing Great Taste”. In my opinion the overall winner of this SEO Search analysis is Coca-Cola.
